SWPA States

The full, searchable 2010 Conference Program is now available!

Printed programs will be given to attendees in their packets at check-in at the convention.

Continuing Education Sessions will also be posted (Times, days, presenters and descriptions for the CE sessions).  Those currently shown in the online program are pending APA approval.  Following approval, descriptions of each will be posted.

Convention Registration / Check-in: All persons who are pre-registered (i.e. dues-paid SWPA members or non-members who have paid for registration ahead of time) will have a badge and packet ready for them at the onsite convention registration desk (second floor of the Gunter Hotel).  Those not pre-registered may register onsite in the same location.

Convention Registration Desk Hours:  Wednesday (6:00 - 8:30 pm); Thursday (7:00 am - 5:00 pm); Friday (7:30 am - 4:30 pm), Saturday (7:30 am - 12:00 pm).

Volunteer opportunities: Student groups may sign up to help sell t-shirts / coffee mugs.  Shifts are 4.5 hours on both Thursday and Friday morning and afternoon. Participating groups will receive a portion of the profits.  Dues-paid members may sign up to volunteer to help at the registration desk and convention packet stuffing.  Shifts are 4.5 hours, and those who help will be reimbursed their $20 registration fee after their shift. In order to sign up, please log in and click on the link "Volunteer at SWPA Convention".  The link to the volunteer opportunities will only be available to those who are already dues current and who have already paid registration.

Exhibit Tables and Program Packet Flyers / Inserts

Exclusive Table
.  You may reserve a staffed exhibit area 2 1/2' X 6' table to present material during the meeting.  The table will be located to ensure a good flow of traffic through the area.  Up to two individuals who staff the exhibit will receive a copy of the program and may also reserve their hotel room at the conference rate. All attendees will receive a List of Table Displays Exhibitors upon their arrival at the conference (complete table exhibitor information below).

Packet Inserts. You may submit single-sheet flyers/brochures or CDs to place in the conference packet that all attendees will receive.  Your institution / company will be responsible for delivering the copies of the flyers/brochures or CDs to the SWPA Texas State Representative, Dr. Chris Hart (see address below) no later than Monday, April 6.  Delivery after that time/date means that early check-in attendees would not receive the information in their packets.  (Any un-stuffed items will be placed on a table near registration so they can be picked up.)  SWPA reserves the right to reject packets inserts deemed inappropriate for the meeting (and refund payment).  Thus, please submit a copy of the packet insert with the payment submission form and payment.

By March 3, 2010, complete the online application form, and email a copy of your packet insert to Dr. Sharon Roberts (rober006@nsuok.edu)

We cannot guarantee table display space after this due date, although it may be possible.

Following packet insert approval please deliver, (no later than April 6, 2010), 750 copies of your packet insert to:
